Strickland's Brantford Automart is looking for a BDC (Business Development Coordinator) to join our team!

The BDC Representative is an effective communicator and has the ability to build strong relationships with both the sales team and customers. They adeptly identify and qualify opportunities for customer growth and improvement in customer care. As a team player, the BDC strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership.
Job Duties:
• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Pleasant and patient phone conduct.
• Listen to customer needs and take action.
• Give customers your full attention and uninterrupted service.
• Keep detailed records of all interactions with customers.
• Handle all customer queries and concerns with a genuine intent to solve their problem.
• Respond to emails in an understandable and timely manner.
• Remind customers of required sales appointments, rescheduling no shows, promoting campaigns and special events.
• Receive and respond to inbound and outbound calls.
• Maintain and communicate exceptional product and inventory knowledge to our customers.
• Work closely with the General Manager and the Sales Managers in a team-based environment.
• Participate in department meetings, other duties as assigned by management.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track interactions with customers, update lead statuses, and manage follow-up tasks efficiently.
• Meet established performance metrics such as lead conversion rates, appointment show rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
Successful Candidates Possess:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of Customer Service or Call Centre Experience.
• Interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Must have strong computer skills and excellent organizational skills to keep track of sales leads.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Desire to collaborate with team members.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
