Specific Responsibilities Include:
– Mentorship of EIT staff, report review, technical review.
– Management and review of cost opinions, change orders, cost proposals.
– Holistic thinking, understanding of interdisciplinary design conflicts, and risk management of contracts.
– Report review and writing.
– Technical expertise with control systems, grounding, heat tracing, lighting systems, low voltage, life safety systems, and commissioning.
– Have the ability to apply for a Federal security clearance in order to work on institutional projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
– P.Eng.
Status with appropriate provincial association
