Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and caring individual to provide childcare services for our 4-year-old son, Nathaniel, who has Level 2 autism.
Nathaniel is a curious and active child who requires attention and stimulation. He loves songs and books, but can be sensitive to yelling and loud noises. He responds well to his name being called and enjoys interacting with others.
The ideal candidate will be able to engage Nathaniel in activities that promote his cognitive and emotional development, while also ensuring his safety and well-being during the hours of 3pm to 4:20pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care and attention to Nathaniel during the specified hours
- Engage Nathaniel in activities that stimulate his curiosity and creativity
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes Nathaniel’s emotional and physical well-being
Requirements:
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
- Ability to communicate effectively with Nathaniel and our family
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to Nathaniel’s needs
Working Hours: 3pm – 4:20pm
