AZ/DZ Driver – Microbulk (Full Time) – Brampton, ON

Primary Purpose:

This position is accountable for the safe delivery of CO2, and/or Argon and Nitrogen at customer sites with microbulk installations . This position will be 4 x 10hr shifts (days of the week to be determined).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Delivery of microbulk products to scheduled various customers across Ontario via a tandem or single axle truck
  • Complete trip reports, fuel tickets and other necessary reports
  • Complete site surveys of equipment and identify potential repairs of tanks at customer locations
  • Ability to work Overtime as required
  • Cover “on call” phone responsibilities if required
  • Follow all safety protocol
 

 Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of AZ/ DZ driving experience
  • Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Driver’s License (AZ or DZ)
  • Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training
  • Strong aptitude for delivery technology (handheld computers, E-Logs)
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
  • Safety first mentality
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Other Considerations:

  • Mechanical aptitude- Knowledge of compressed gases and the safe handling of gases
  • Cryogenic gas knowledge/experience
  • Tanker experience
