<p>Overview<br><br>We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Automotive Maintenance & Repairs and Diagnostics, with the ability to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using general hand and power tools as well as diagnostic equipment. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles. Wages will be based on Experience and Schooling.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform routine maintenance Inspections, Services, and Repairs on various makes and models of vehicles which include Asian, Domestic, European, and Diesel light duty vehicles and gas and diesel medium duty vehicles.</li><li>Light and Medium duty Fleet Inspections, Services, and Repairs.</li><li>SGI Inspection Certificate would be an assett.</li><li>Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools.</li><li>Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.</li><li>Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they become serious issues.</li><li>Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the repair process.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Assist with heavy lifting when necessary during the repair process.</li></ul><p>Skills</p><ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and general repair.</li><li>Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.</li><li>Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as required.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Capability to perform heavy lifting safely, as needed during repairs.</li><li>Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.</li></ul><p>We are a 5000 sq. ft. facility with 7 hoists and 2 alignment machines, tire equipment, and is very well equipped with diagnostic and general tools and equipment. We provide all services and repairs in the following areas: Brakes, Steering and Suspension, Tires, Alignments, Drivetrain, Engine Repairs, Electrical, Electronic, and Emissions Diagnostics, Heating and Air Conditioning, Oil Changes, and General Repairs.
