Associate Lawyer, Family Law (Remote - London, Ontario)
The Riley Divorce & Family Law Firm is a growing boutique firm dedicated exclusively to family law. We are seeking a Family Law Associate (ideally 1-3 years' experience) to join our collaborative and supportive team in a fully remote role, with occasional travel to courthouses as required.
What You'll Do
- Manage family law files from start to finish
- Advise clients on separation, divorce, parenting, and support matters
- Draft pleadings, agreements, and related legal documents
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances
- Maintain a target of 25 billable hours per week
- Stay current with Ontario family law legislation and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO)
- Ideally 1-3 years of family law or related litigation experience
- Strong advocacy, communication, and organizational skills
- Work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to travel for in-person courthouse appearances as needed
- Proficiency with legal practice management software
