Job Description:

Resolutions Law Corporation is looking for a litigator to join the firm. The successful candidate must be in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia. The candidate will be asked to assist the senior lawyer on files and the firm will provide infrastructure so the lawyer can build her or his practice in certain areas of law that she or he may find of interest subject to the lawyer being willing to practice in the area of family and estate litigation for the first few years.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer to build a practice without having to worry about start up costs while being mentored by a senior lawyer with over 30 years of experience. This is also a great opportunity for a lawyer looking for part time or casual work for the time being. Resolutions Law offers flexibility in a fast paced but easygoing atmosphere where we put our clients first and pride ourselves in client satisfaction as can be seen through our glowing Google reviews!

Compensation:

The compensation is a blend of fee split on a sliding scale of collected billings and a hourly subcontract work on certain files and administrative non-billable work. It is anticipated based on the volume of work available that the associate will earn between $50,000 – $75,000 in the first year and significantly increase into the six figures by the 2nd year.For those who want the security of a salary, a salary will be offered to those 1 st year call lawyers who want to make less than what they otherwise earn on the fee split/ hourly being offered.
