Located in the heart of Yellowknife, we serve a diverse range of guests and pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-run environment.</p><p>Position Overview</p><p>We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on supervisory role that supports the daily operations of the housekeeping department and plays a key part in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Clean guest rooms and public areas as needed</li><li>Assist with staff scheduling and shift coordination</li><li>Manage employee relations and resolve disputes professionally</li><li>Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency</li><li>Liaise with the Maintenance Team and Front Desk to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Monitor inventory and uphold safety and cleanliness standards</li><li>Train and mentor housekeeping staff to meet performance expectations</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role</li><li>Strong communication and conflict resolution skills</li><li>Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment</li><li>Familiarity with northern climates and remote hospitality operations is an asset</li><li>Only candidates who are legally entitled to work in Canada will be considered; employer sponsorship is not available for this position</li></ul><p>Compensation & Benefits</p><ul><li>Salary Range: $57,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications</li><li>Performance-based bonus eligibility</li><li>Subsidized shared staff housing available to support relocation and living needs</li><li>Additional benefits may include health coverage and staff discounts</li></ul><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>
