<p>THE ROLE</p><p>We're working with a stable, long-established industrial manufacturer to find their<br>Assistant General Manager,<br>a unique, growth-focused position supporting the current General Manager with the long-term goal of succession over the next decade (or less).</p><p>This is a rare opportunity for a mechanically inclined leader to step into a high-impact role where they can grow into the site leader while staying close to the shop floor.</p><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Mechanical background:<br> Millwright (433A), Maintenance Technician, or similar hands-on technical experience</li><li>Leadership potential:<br> You don't need a big title, just a strong presence, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow into more</li><li>Problem-solver:<br> You love getting your hands dirty, tinkering, modifying, and figuring things out when manuals or parts don't exist</li><li>CAD/PLC experience<br> is a plus, but mechanical ability is more important</li><li>Must be<br> local to the Mississauga area<br> or within a<br> reasonable daily commute</li></ul><p>Why This Role Is Different</p><ul><li>True succession plan:<br> you'll work side-by-side with the GM and eventually take the reins</li><li>Legacy equipment meets custom innovation:<br> no boring days here</li><li>Stable, family-owned business<br> with global reach and a local, small-company feel</li><li>Room to grow:<br> both technically and into executive leadership</li></ul><p>REQUIREMENTS</p><ul><li>Proven experience in mechanical and electronic troubleshooting, including expertise in Hydraulics and Pneumatics.</li><li>Proficiency in PLC programming, CAD software, and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.</li><li>Experience in a technical role within an industrial setting.</li><li>A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field, complemented by relevant professional certifications.</li></ul><p>Sound Like You?</p><p>We'd love to hear from you.
