Overview

Shift Pattern


Day shift (8.30-4.30) and back shift.


Working Hours


Effective 1 April 2026, the full‑time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rate. Pay will be increased accordingly.


Responsibilities


To perform basic respiratory/sleep diagnostic investigations, clerical duties and cleaning of equipment/clinical areas.


Essential Requirements



  • 5 Standard Grades (Preferably Science/Maths)

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Basic computer skills


Preferable



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

  • Knowledge of departmental protocols to be attained over 3 months (6 months for PT post), during mandatory hospital induction course.


Training


Completion of in‑house training programme on basic sleep diagnostics and preparation for advanced procedures.
