<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Propak Systems Ltd.</strong> is an established leader in engineering, fabrication, and construction of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry. We are currently seeking <strong>Apprentice</strong> <strong>Sheet Metal Fabricators </strong>to join our Fabrication Shops in Airdrie, AB.</p><p>We offer day, evening and weekend shifts with excellent premiums for evening and weekend day shifts. If you are a looking to grow with a company who values work-life balance this may be the position for you. </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Read engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates.</li><li>Operate light metal working machines such as shears, brakes, and drill presses.</li><li>Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment.</li><li>Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, eaves-troughs, partition frames, air and heat ducts, material handling systems, roof decking and sheet metal buildings.</li><li>Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.</li><li>Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications.</li><li>Listen and receptive to instructions and work to achieve set goals, action plans and timelines for project completion.</li><li>Apply knowledge and skills learned from coaches and mentors to ensure completion of the apprenticeship program.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Be eligible for registration as a registered apprentice; or</li><li>Be a registered apprentice.</li><li>Motivated and willing to learn.</li><li>As a condition of employment, employees are required, upon hire, to sign a Drug-Free Workplace Agreement, a Conflict of Interest Agreement and Confidentiality and Invention Agreement.</li></ul><p><strong>Propak Systems Ltd. </strong>thanks all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p><p><em>No Phone Calls Please</em></p></p></p>
