Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Montreal, Quebec, CA/Hybrid
Duration: Long Term contract
We’re seeking someone to join our Custom Baskets team as a strong individual contributor, working closely with our business users.
You will be joining a global development team, with a variety of technical expertise, and huge amount of system knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Contribute to the function of the application through complex project tasks and initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
- Requirement Gathering: Communicate directly with the business to assist with requirement gathering and address questions.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate with technology peers globally and ensure delivery meets the highest standards.
- Innovation: Bring ideas that might accelerate our efforts to add value for the business in targeted ways.
Required Skills
Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with:
Gradle
Spring
GPB (Google Protocol Buffers)
Microservices architecture
Testing
Multithreading
Additional Technical Skills (Desirable):
Knowledge of C#, SQL, or Python.
