<p><strong>Applications Analyst - Microsoft Dynamics 365</strong></p><p>1-2 days onsite Vancouver</p><p><br></p><p>6 months contract or Full time permanent option</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We're looking for an experienced <strong>Applications Analyst</strong> with strong expertise in the <strong>Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem</strong>, especially <strong>Business Central</strong> and <strong>D365 Field Service</strong>. In this role, you will support and enhance the company's finance, operations, and field service functions by configuring systems, improving processes, and ensuring smooth data flows across connected applications.</p><p>You'll work across both <strong>strategic projects</strong> (implementations, data migrations, integrations) and <strong>ongoing operational support</strong>, helping create a reliable, scalable Dynamics environment.</p><p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p><p><strong>Systems Analysis & Design</strong></p><ul><li>Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation such as data models, field mappings, process flows, and system architecture.</li><li>Identify process gaps and recommend improvements, including opportunities to use Power Platform and AI-driven features.</li></ul><p><strong>Configuration & Integration</strong></p><ul><li>Configure and support <strong>D365 Business Central</strong> and <strong>D365 Field Service</strong>.</li><li>Build workflow automations with <strong>Power Automate</strong> and create basic <strong>Power Apps</strong>.</li><li>Maintain system configurations (workflows, approvals, field changes, logic updates).</li><li>Manage security roles, permissions, and environment governance within Dynamics and Power Platform.</li></ul><p><strong>Data Migration & Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, validation, and compliance with standards.</li><li>Build and maintain <strong>Power BI</strong> dashboards and run SQL queries to analyze or troubleshoot data.</li></ul><p><strong>Testing, Support & Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and coordinate <strong>user acceptance testing (UAT)</strong> and release validation.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues across Business Central, Field Service, and Power Platform workflows.</li><li>Address integration issues (failed runs, sync errors) and escalate complex problems when needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>5-7 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics experience</strong>, including configuration and implementation of:</li><li><strong>D365 Business Central</strong> (ERP, financial or operational modules, field service or inventory workflows)</li><li><strong>D365 Field Service</strong></li><li>Strong experience configuring processes and operational logic in Dynamics.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Power Automate</strong>, <strong>Power Apps</strong>, or similar low-code tools.</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Power BI</strong> (data modeling, DAX, visualization) and solid SQL skills.</li><li>Strong background in data management, validation, and reconciliation across ERP and related systems.</li><li>Understanding of integrations (APIs, connectors, sync processes) and ability to monitor/troubleshoot issues.</li><li>Experience designing business workflows and writing clear functional/technical documentation.</li></ul><p></p>
