Able to install, maintain, and repair alarm systems of residential and business buildings. Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults. Run tests on existing alarm systems, Perform regular inspections. Monitor, record, and report all equipment as per company policies and procedures.

Perform work orders for repairs as needed by supervisor/manager. Able to teach clients how to use the alarm systems. Maintains accurate logbooks on each job performed. Provides good customer service.

Requirements Completion of a High Secondary school certificate or college courses in electronics and on-the-job training is required. OR Completion of a two- to three-year college program in electronics or completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in electronic servicing and repair Alarm system experience, whether through trade, or security. A letter of Recommendation from previous experience would be preferred. Additional skills: Good problem-solving skills.
