Responsibilities
- Design and develop ML systems: Choose the right algorithms, design data pipelines, and build scalable models.
- Data preparation and feature engineering: Gather, clean, and transform data into a usable format for training models.
- Model training and evaluation: Train models on the prepared data, evaluate their performance using metrics, and fine-tune them for optimal results.
- Model deployment and monitoring: Deploy models into production on-premises or on cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance, and monitor over time.
- Collaboration: Work with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to develop and implement ML solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Deep Learning and NLP.
- Hands-on experience with interfacing LLM APIs, prompts, and responses.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools.
- 3+ years of hands-on machine learning development experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration tools like AirFlow, KubeFlow, etc.
- Knowledge of application implementation requirements, including risk, privacy, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and related platforms.
Additional Skills
- Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD, version control, and deployment best practices.
