About our client:
Our client is a local charitable Not for Profit charitable organization, in the senior living space that provides a number of services throughout the GTA.
About the role:
This role will be supporting the Director of Finance with the following, but not limited to:
Support annual audit preparation and provide required documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, government reports, and closing entries.
Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Oversee accounts receivable and payable, resolving related issues with other departments.
Maintain confidential files and provide backup support to staff as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Accounting Designation, (CMA, CPA) or close to designation
- Must be proficient with MS Excel
