About the Opportunity

  • Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks
  • Prepare financial statements and reconcile monthly general ledger
  • Ensure timely completion of financial analysis and market value reports
  • Calculate and maintain adjusted cost base, and manage investment schedules
  • Develop annual budgets as needed
  • Generate monthly and/or quarterly budget-to-actual reports
  • Aid in quarterly investment reporting
  • Handle tax filings including HST, T2, T3, and T4
  • Manage administrative tasks and maintain records
  • Coordinate with AP Team to ensure prompt payments
  • Assist in preparing for external audits
  • Fulfill other ad-hoc duties as necessary

About You

  • CPA Enrollment
  • Minimum 4 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including assisting with financial statement prep, reporting, and budgeting/forecasting
  • Minimum 2 years Canadian work experience 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Large ERP system, SAP preferred
  • Advanced Excel- pivot tables, vlookup
  • Real estate/Investment Industry experience
  • Experience with corporate and personal tax returns- HST, T2, T3, T4 filings
  • Experience dealing with investment portfolios- booking, adjusting

Salary Range
$60,000 – $65,000/year
