Our list of clients includes a wide range of internationally recognized consumer packaged goods, retail and alcohol. As an Account Manager at DonerNorth you are a key member of the team, responsible for leading project execution, aiding in campaign planning and working with the integrated team at DonerNorth. You would be a key point of contact between agency and vendors, and clients. Given the integrated nature of the Agency, the Account Manager will be working with teams across departments including creative, digital and experiential marketing to ensure overall success on assigned projects. Time and effort should be allocated approximately 10% on strategic planning, 30% on creative and 60% on execution.


  • Develop a positive and partnering relationship with all clients and internal colleagues
  • Manage multiple projects with consistent high quality, attention to detail and integrity
  • Accountable for the execution, and quality control of all projects from brief to completion on schedule and within budget
  • Oversee budgets and maintains the Budget Control Report & dockets as projects are in progress
  • Assist the client lead and strategy team in the planning process and competitive reports
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the client’s business and competitive environment to effectively contribute during creative discussions
  • Provide support as needed throughout creative development process and coordinate with IMC partners
  • Willing to work on alcohol and cannabis related clients
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required


  • Shopper Marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Friendly, positive, client-centric can-do attitude
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience (with a focus in advertising, marketing or business)
  • Account service experience in an advertising agency with a demonstrated ability to manage small to medium sized projects on time and on budget
  • Solid understanding of agency and creative process, to continually drive for results and highest quality standards
  • Full understanding of media principles and impact on creative execution
  • Solutions-oriented self-starter, with strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task and adapt to changing workload
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills that can be applied with both clients and internal team
  • Proven ability to manage production execution with AS or AD supervision
  • Proven time management and budget management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (PC Windows and Microsoft Office) and familiarity with key project metrics (Budget Control Reporting, Revenue Recognition)
  • Experience managing a direct report would be an asset
