<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $38.70 - $43.00 per hour<br /><p>Wildstone is a General Contractor currently looking for a 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson Plumber to join our Mechanical team. Here are the types of projects we work on Wastewater/Water Treatment Plants, Energy and institutional projects, new multi-family builds, and commercial builds.</p><p></p><p>Youll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21/7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work 10-hour shifts on average. Perks include well-maintained crew housing, flights to and from site from the nearest airport, a Living Out Allowance, full benefits, and an RSP program.</p><p><br /></p><p>In this role, youll work independently, collaborate with skilled tradespeople, and support our Journeyperson Plumbers as you continue to learn the trade.</p><p><br /></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br /></p><ul><li> Build, assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems.</li><li> Read and interpret drawings and specifications.</li><li> Layout equipment and pipe routes.</li><li> Measure, cut, bend, thread, solder, groove, crimp, and glue piping systems.</li><li> Ensure proper tools for job are assembled at the work site.</li><li> Understand proper installation methods of pipe systems and related equipment.</li><li> Proper care and handling of equipment used on site.</li><li> Comply with all safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Take direction from Team Leads / Journeyperson Plumbers</li><li>We value flexibility, so youll also be ready to take on other tasks as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p>A little about Wildstone. Were family-owned and operated, we take on projects in some of the most remote, challenging and exciting locations in western and northern Canada, and our goal is to always make a positive impact through community involvement where we work. </p><p><br /></p><p>Requirements:</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber or registered as a 4th Year Apprentice with <span >provincial/territorial</span> regulatory body</li><li>Commercial and Industrial construction experience</li><li>Experience working on renovations and modifications on commercial projects</li><li>Experience with hydronic systems</li><li>Mechanical/boiler room experience</li><li>A strong safety record.</li><li>Ability to work with a variety of individuals and work in a team.</li><li>Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, Elevated Work Platform, and Level 1 First Aid</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
