We are growing again!.
We are hiring licensed 310T Truck & Coach Mechanic’s to join our team in Brampton, ON.
- $38-$42 per hour (flexible based on experience)
- 6:00am to 4:30pm or 7:30am to 6:00pm
Requirements
- Possession of a valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician Certificate and in good standing.
- Be able to work effectively with minimum or no supervision.
- High quality work is carried out in a timely manner.
- Be in good physical condition and capable of completing tasks which require the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Work shifts and work at heights.
- Good verbal and oral communication skills
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical problems.
- Diagnose problems and repairs brakes, transmission, rear-ends, and clutches, hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, and electrical problems.
- Performs tune ups.
- Assist with Plant repairs.
- Assist with welding if required.
- Complete work orders with proper information and hand in daily.
- Practice good housekeeping habits.
- Versatile and able to go from one job to another when required.
- Repair body of truck as needed.
- Make service calls as needed.
- Report any vehicle defects to reporting manager.
- Able to work in inclement weather conditions.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment for protection from hazards.
- Report any accident or injury immediately.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
